This policy explains what information GradeLogic (getgradelogic.com) handles and why. The short version: the calculators work in your browser, we don't have user accounts, and we don't ask for your name or email to use any tool.
Calculator entries
Numbers you type into a calculator are processed by JavaScript in your browser. They are not sent to our server.
To save you retyping, the most recent values in each calculator are stored in your browser's local storage on your device. They stay there until you press Reset in that calculator or clear your browser's site data. We cannot see them, and they are not linked to any account.
Technically, each calculator uses one local-storage entry whose name starts with gradelogic:. This is browser storage, not a cookie, and it is never read by our server.
Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, the server that hosts GradeLogic receives standard technical information when you load a page — such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. Hosting providers typically keep these logs for security and troubleshooting for a limited period.
Fonts, scripts and images are served from getgradelogic.com itself. At present the site loads no third-party scripts, analytics or advertising code.
Advertising
GradeLogic may show ads through Google AdSense in future to support the site. If it does, this section will be updated before ads go live. In summary, Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services. Where required by law (for example in the UK and EEA), you'll be asked for consent before non-essential cookies are set.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it only to reply and don't add you to any mailing list.
Children
The calculators can be used by students of any age without providing personal information. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
- Press Reset in any calculator to delete its saved values.
- Clear site data in your browser settings to remove everything stored by GradeLogic.
- Contact [email protected] with any privacy question or request.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
